Bagless Vacuum Cleaner {inside tip for smell}
Last year, we revamped my entire website, and since then, I have noticed that people were missing one of my top-ranked posts. It was about freshening up a bagless vacuum cleaner. This cracks me up because there are plenty of other long, well-written posts that do not get as much traffic as this little one, so I am bringing it back!
Today's Tuesday Tip is all about bagless vacuum cleaners! First, let me start by saying that my Shark vacuum is one of my favorite products in our home. I am obsessed with it! It has amazing suction, is lightweight, and is easy to clean. I am sharing the link here so you know what I am talking about.
But this post is not all about the Shark vacuum. It is about the fact that after a while, no matter how often you clean it, a bagless vacuum cleaner gets a distinct smell, especially if you have pets in your home! That used to drive me nuts but I have discovered two ways to make your vacuum smell fresh and clean!
Wait for it...
1. Downy Unstopables!
Sprinkle a few of these into the canister of your vacuum and your entire house will smell like Heaven! This is the smell I use: https://amzn.to/3Bw26DB
2. Young Living Essential Oils
All you need is about 6 drops on your filter and your vacuum can smell however you like! I use Lime in the summer, Christmas Spirit and Evergreen in the winter, and Purification all year, on and off.
3. Baking Soda
Sprinkle a little baking soda on your rug and then vacuum it up!
